Wendy Pillonel, Olivia Ginevra Calcaterra and Elisa Baccolo. These are the authors of the proposals that most convinced the jury awarding the residencies for screenplay projects, guests of Casa Pantrovà in Carona this year.
During their residency period, the winners will be able to take advantage of the concomitance of the Locarno Film Festival: for the Locarno Residency, this year, the project of Elisa Baccolo has been chosen, who will then have the opportunity to present her proposal to a jury of three personalities from the film industry. The jury will choose three projects - two international and one Swiss - to be tutored in several sessions organised online and in presence over the course of a year. Wendy Pillonel, on the other hand, will be able to present her project at the next edition of Castellinaria Festival del cinema giovane during which she will have the opportunity to meet professionals from the specific field of children's cinema. Once again this year, a meeting will be organised in August in Carona to share the ongoing experience among guests, cultural operators and citizens.
