In China, 12-year-old Tian and his sister go to live with their grandmother in the mountains of Sichuan. Although he should be studying to meet his father's expectations, Tian prefers to venture into the lush forest. It is there that he has an incredible encounter with a young panda named MOON. As the days go by, the two become inseparable, forming a strong bond that their grandmother observes with amusement. But their heartbreaking separation comes when Tian's father forces him to return to live in the city. When he learns that MOON is being transferred to a protected area, he embarks on a courageous journey to say a final goodbye to his furry friend. |
