SCHOOLS CANNOT REGISTER FOR THE 6.15 P.M. AND 8.45 P.M. SCREENINGS Young Czech Helen feels deeply lonely and has a strong desire of belonging. When she meets the Afghan guy Nazir, she immediately feels him as her great love. Despite being warned by everyone, she moves to Kabul with Nazir and marries him. Helen, now called Herra, soon feels at home, but life as a blonde woman in Afghanistan is not easy. She must wear the burqa out of her home, cannot go shopping and is not even allowed to show herself to visitors in the house. In addition, she has troubles getting pregnant, which makes her marriage even more complicate. |
