Gerda and Kai are two children, friends for life. During a snowstorm, little Kai is struck by a splinter of ice that carries a curse. The curse comes from the legendary Snow Queen who, having been mocked by the child, freezes Kai's heart, making him mean and insensitive at times. The situation worsens when the Queen kidnaps the child and takes him to her unreachable ice palace. Gerda, convinced that she can save her little friend, decides to leave to join him but knows that the more time passes, the more the curse will take hold of Kai. |
