Sal and Ray are two girls in an orphanage. Sal’s biggest dream is to have a dog all her own, while Ray wants a family and a place to call home. One day while playing they see a truck full of furniture, stolen by Wesley and Kosh, nicknamed the “Central Park robbers”, who, after the theft decide to aban- don the little dog that had followed them, named Chestnut. Sal and Ray take care of the puppy and shortly thereafter learn that they’ve been adopted – all their dreams seem to have finally come true! But in the luxurious New York apartment where their new family lives dogs are not allowed, so the two girls decide to hide the Great Dane puppy in their bedroom. But the “Central Park robbers” are again at work and want to pull a job right in the neighborhood of Sal and Ray's new parents' home. |
