Covid Plan

GENERAL PROTECTIVE MEASURES

Certificate requirement

Access to the event will only be granted on presentation of the COVID certificate:

Persons aged 16 years old and over are only allowed to access to the event if they are in possession of a valid COVID certificate as well as an official photo identification document, such as passport, identity card, driving licence, residence permit, SwissPass, student card.

With the extension of the COVID certificate requirement to indoor events, other measures such as limiting the capacity of the cinema and the Espocentro in general, the mask requirement, contact tracing, distance rules, etc. are suspended.

Children and young people under 16 years of age do not need a COVID certificate or a mask.

The use of a mask is optional for all persons with a COVID certificate or under 16 years of age.

Protection plan for the cinema

Basic regulations

The current guidelines for COVID-certified events allow for full (100%) occupancy of the venue without the need to wear a hygiene mask. The use of a hygiene mask is therefore optional.

This rule applies to pre-evening and evening screenings (general public).

Exceptions

For all so-called "school" screenings dedicated to primary and secondary school classes (audiences under the age of 16) at the Espocentro, Castellinaria decides to close the screenings to the general public and to reserve them exclusively for schools. This, in agreement with DECS, means that these screenings can be considered educational activities.

Castellinaria also renounces full occupancy of the theater, applying the rule of spacing between classes. It is also compulsory for secondary school students to wear a mask during their entire stay in the Espocentro.

The accompanying teacher(s) are still required to check their COVID certificate at the entrance to the Espocentro, as access to the theater must be through the communal indoor areas (foyer).

This decision applies to morning and early afternoon screenings.

For screenings organised by Castellinaria during the festival period (13-20.11.2021) in various cinemas throughout the Canton (e.g. the Cinema Forum in Bellinzona), dedicated to primary and secondary schools (audiences under 16 years of age), as well as to high schools (16-20 year old), Castellinaria decides to reserve screenings exclusively for schools. This, in agreement with DECS, means that these screenings can be considered educational activities.

The requirement for a COVID certificate for access to the cinema for both students and accompanying teacher(s) has therefore been waived.

Full occupancy of the auditorium is also waived, applying the rule of spacing between classes. From secondary school onwards, it is also compulsory to wear a mask throughout your stay in the cinema.

The managers of cinemas hosting "school" screenings organised by Castellinaria will be informed and are obliged to comply with the abovementioned protection plan.
